Volunteering


Do you have the time on either a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday to help in the mornings with cleaning of cat pens? Hours from 9-9.30 to 10.30.

Do you have a few hours to spare on a Wednesday and like gardening? We are looking for a volunteer who is a keen plant person to help our existing gardener with looking after our flower and herbaceous borders.

Events
Do you have an outgoing nature and enjoy talking to people? We are looking for volunteers to help set up and run stalls at our events.  During 2017 we have lots of events planned, see our events page for some of the events.

TNR
As a branch we are very active in the trapping and neutering of feral cats. We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who can help with this vital work.

Volunteer Role Description - TNR

Free cat care talks.

Cats Protection offers curriculum-linked workshops to schools and talks to community groups; completely free of charge.

Both adults and children can learn about cat behviour and resposible pet ownership.

Do you enjoy talking to people?

Do you have the gift of the gab and a passion to make a difference to cat welfare?

It's an important part of the Cats Protection work to help people understand about cats and how to look after them.
We're looking for volunteers to give talks to youngsters and seniors in schools and community groups. Full training given.
